Sweden’s School Diversity
Sweden made the news recently after the leading political party vowed to ban religious schools. From the article: “The Social Democratic party, which currently leads a minority government, has pledged to ban all religious free schools to tackle segregation in the country.” In this turn of events, Sweden illustrates why desegregation is NOT a Christian ideal. A Christian school must be allowed to distinguish between Christians and Muslims, or else it is not a Christian school. Diversity is not a virtue. In this case, the push to force desegregation will result in the closure of 59 Christian schools.
Sometimes, protecting your religious liberty will come at the cost of being a racist. In this case, being racist is necessary.
